EmployeeWorks
The pre-built Moveworks Enterprise Assistant and the applications that ship with it: built-in capabilities, Productivity Boost, and Enterprise Search.
EmployeeWorks is the pre-built Moveworks Enterprise Assistant together with the applications that ship with it. Employees chat with it in Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, and the other supported channels, or in the browser, to find information and get work done across the systems your organization has connected. This section explains what the assistant does out of the box and where each piece is configured. Deploying it to a channel is covered under Channels, and creating additional purpose-built assistants is covered under Productivity Assistants.
The Enterprise Assistant
The Enterprise Assistant lets employees chat with AI agents. Conversations are powered by the Agentic Reasoning Engine, which understands the request, plans, calls the plugins that can resolve it, and summarizes the result with citations back to the sources it used. Because the assistant generates each response in the moment, responses vary between similar requests, and its decision-making is dynamic rather than scripted. The overview explains these operating principles and the ways you can customize the assistant; the capabilities page lists what it can do and the built-in plugins behind each capability.
Productivity Boost
Productivity Boost is a package of built-in plugins for work that does not fit squarely into search or automation. Brief Me lets employees upload documents and ask questions, get summaries, or compare content directly from their files. Quick GPT answers general, open-ended questions that are not tied to internal company data. Calendar Management, for looking up meetings and booking time in chat, is under development. Productivity Boost is a paid feature; the configuration guide covers enabling Quick GPT and Brief Me for the users your subscription covers.
Enterprise Search
Enterprise Search is two doorways into the same capability: a plugin that powers conversational search inside the Enterprise Assistant, and a dedicated search application employees use for deep discovery. Both draw on the same content connectors, retrieval engine, and permissions enforcement, so employees only see content they can already access in the source system. The pages here cover how search behaves and how to write content it can answer from.
Connecting content systems, choosing between the Classic Ingestion and Max Capacity journeys, and managing ingestion and permissions are documented under Tools, starting with Search Connectors.
